The Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology was established in 1996 as a welfare measure under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) New Delhi offering Hotel Management courses primarily for the children of Army personnel. AIHMCT is affiliated to Bengaluru North University (BNU), approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and a NAAC accredited institution for quality in higher education. The institution has a 12 acres of sprawling campus, equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure to include hostel facility for boys and Girls.
